David Marble MAOM, Lic.Ac. - is a Massachusetts native. He received a BA in religion from Wesleyan University, and spent 3 years at Harvard Divinity School pursuing ordination before realizing that the life of a minister wasn't for him. After taking a year off to deal with a family illness, he decided that acupuncture was the place where his "deep gladness meets the world's deep need", one of the critical questions of vocation he considered in divinity school. David graduated with a dual masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and has received significant extracurricular training in Shakuju Therapy, a Japanese technique that doesn’t involve needle insertion. His practice style primarily uses Japanese acupuncture and Sotai (an assisted stretching technique), with Chinese acupuncture styles and herbal therapies available as needed by the individual patient. He was also the recipient of the Compassionate Healer award at the New England School of Acupuncture.
